DESCRIPTION:We’re honored to welcome Jim Baker as the featured artist for this month’s Engage Art Bible Cluster. \nJim is a New Mexico based multimedia artist whose work brings Scripture into visual form through altered Bibles\, sacred structures\, and devotional art. With more than 40 years of experience in ministry\, his practice is shaped by a deep engagement with biblical metaphor\, symbol\, and story. His work reflects the belief that Scripture is not only meant to be read\, but also contemplated through the physical language of image\, object\, and form. \nBest known for reclaiming and re-stitching antique Bibles into three dimensional works of sacred art\, Jim creates pieces that invite worship\, spiritual conversation\, and renewed attention to the hidden meaning within Scripture.
