The artwork narrates the challenges & struggle of a believer of Christ faces to comeback and join fellow Christians. The two forces wearing black represent the devil that do all its best to cut him off from the group(believers). The ones wearing white traditional cloth of Ethiopians (that usually worn when going to church), represent Sons & Daughters of Christ who have already passed through similar tests of devil. Their individualized and unique moves narrate their different ways of encouraging him to have the trust & perseverance to overcome the temporary obstacles of devil. The video ends when the believer joins his fellow Christians where he will be shielded from the devil’s schemes through group support & prayers
In this time of confusion, distortion, false propagandas and wobbly ground, it’s very challenging for many Christians to stand firm and focus on the teachings and practices of our lord Jesus Christ, who is the only an assurance for a better life here and after.
Our artwork is based on Ephesians 11- 12; (11) Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
With this art work we have made an effort to show that as far as we have solid faith in our lord and put on the full armor of God, there is nothing that can stand on our way. We also tried to demonstrate the power a congregation to motivate & safeguard fellow believers from the temptations of the world.
