Artist Statement

In our canon of work this was the hardest video we created because of the locations and the ability to find the right building to shoot in for his prison scene of AL rapping. This song pulls in the heartache of how a man can once become lost in his own selfish way and how God can still save that individual. Even for the convicts that are serving time God can still show grace and mercy and give them away out. AL has went through this and is a living example of what the word through Jesus Christ can do for anybody.

How it fits into contest

Pulling from the verses of the songs and how that relates to the verses found in Ephesians

EP 12- For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. SONG- V1:f Father though he hardly came around still I rise, guess he forgot his seed was still in the ground, I forgive him not only that I pray that God save him if you wanna reap the harvest prepare for the hard labor He’s not a respect of person so we all Gods favorite I do this for my boys in them cages, wassup Pep!

EP 16- In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. SONG- V2: he grew up in the church watched his mom pay tithes even through the hard times she gave her money to God he asked her why it’s hard to explain as she replied on a search for words he could see the pain in her eyes, guess he never understood blessings rain from the sky he from the hood where they claimed that’s a lie what a nightmare praying that daddy would be right there total lack of communication and that’s quite clear.

EP 19-20-19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. SONG - HOOK: Through the pain through the grave the cross the misery All the love that was shown Lord I was wrong could u forgive me I Need You... U promised u would never leave and that’s good news.. U promised u would never leave me.
