The top is crocheted and has fabric sewn on the top. The pants are a mixture of crochet and knit. The helmet is knitted. The shield and sword are cut from construction board. The Sandles are made from cardboard and acrylic yarn.
We took the literal direction and made a suit of armor. My inspiration came from remembering when I left an abusive relationship in 2012 and how hard I prayed and kept tight to my faith to get me through the tough trial in my life.
The armor of God means everything. It means hope that we can get through all troubles because of what the Lord equips us with.
