This piece, “Perseverance of Prayer,” seeks to capture the golden gift that lives within all of us – Faith – the gift that creates a window for the light of hope to enter and heal our human spirit. When we believe in the power of prayer we are able to find the unspoken understanding of our human connection and able to synchronize the tempo of our universal heartbeat. It is together, that we can create a rising crescendo towards the shared vision of a beautiful universal harmony. We are human beings that have been given the gift of being able to see each other from within and create connections in between.

This piece draws from the pivotal scripture of Ephesians 6:10–20 in that it strives to depict the power of prayer – how faith gives us the will to survive in body, mind, and spirit. As the scripture tells us to “take up the shield of Faith” – may we put on the armor of prayer to heal our wounds and build the army of peace to heal the world, spreading God’s radiant light of hope that he breathes into our hearts.
