Eventually, and hopefully, we are able to nurture someone. With this, comes the inevitable circumstance of running out of time with them. “Lonely Circle” shows 3 characters, all aged differently, but the same person on a linear timespan. The feeling of being alone while present in others company speaks volumes to mental health and the feeling of unworthiness.
In the making new of things, and for the sake of “cleaning house”, God prepares us in ways that aren’t conducive to our plans for our lives. We may lose friendships, partners, dreams and other things in order to prepare us for what’s ahead. In the midst of this, we don’t see the “God” in these movements because so much of our comfort is in what was there. We start to see that the circle we have; aging, lonely, and common, are the only beings we begin to know. We might find loneliness in the groups we belonged to as we feel the tugging in our Spirit.
