Double Edge Sword

This drama has been performed at numerous conferences and worship service settings. I wrote it many years ago in an effort to communicate the vanity of petty differences amongst people of different ‘flavors’ of the Christian faith – and getting distracted from the real battle.

The scene is based on Eph 6:12 – For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The ending verse is: 1 John 4:20 – If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?
