The 2026 Engage Art Contest invites artwork from diverse genres and points of view. Winners will be featured as a curated Bible Plan on YouVersion, a billion-user Scripture platform.
Submissions are invited January 1-31, 2026.
"Tell it slant"
We're looking for artwork that echoes the vision of poet Emily Dickinson, who famously wrote "Tell all the truth but tell it slant—"
We invite dances, paintings, sculptures and songs that explore the truth of Scripture but tell it slant —leveraging medium, perspective, culture, theme or story to reveal anew.
Submissions will open January 1–31, 2026.

In past contests, Engage Art has awarded large monetary prizes. For 2026, we’ve chosen a different focus. We are seeking artists who see art as a ministry and are excited to draw others into deeper Scripture engagement through their craft.
We are investing in building a sustainable platform that calls artists and art-lovers into Scripture.
