The priest 2D Animation, is a short character amateur animation designed in Adobe Photoshop software on Apple Mac during Multi Media course back in 2010, showing a page by page character movement of a priest entering in church, reading his bible, with a random football flying in and kicked by the priest and a random fly buzzing around, priest falling asleep and going out of church, shutting the door. End of animation.
The purpose of the animation was to highlight the importance of Christianity and theology in a light hearted sort of random, humorous way, that can make children and young people, families laugh or put a smile on faces.
The creative process was using mainly A4 paper, pencil to begin with and biro pen to make a black and white simple 2D adobe photoshop animation.

Scripture passage reflects on deeper symbolism on the Catholic faith and theological aspect of Lord Jesus and his compassion for humanity, self less deeds on kind acts for humanity for example to feed hungry and poverty.
The scripture of the biblical priest entering the church connects to the simplicity of the church and the deeper meaning behind the animation to Catholicism, representing the beauty of catholic modern day churches through the hand drawn stained glass windows with crosses, also adding in some comical random humour with foot ball kicked by priest, shows he can play sports! and random fly or falling asleep when reading his bible, can connect to this modern contemporary 21st century.
The art work does connect to the modern ideology of biblical theological senses of Christianity and bringing hope to lives with a small satire sense of humour with some mayhem with fly and random football added for engaging with target audience of young families, children and babies.
