"Facing My Giants" was recreated from a painting entitled "It Remains In the Wind”. In the painting ‘It Remains In the Wind” the young women is looking back at her past. However when I began creating the bronze relief for ‘It Remains In the Wind” the young women in the bronze piece decide to look forward with her head raised as if to say I no longer want to look behind but ahead. That’s when the piece “Facing My Giants” was born.

“Facing My Giant”, expresses the ability to stand firm in the face of tribulation, when God is your anchor and strength you can withstand any storm.
