Faith Lift Burdens

Animated

Artist Statement

My artwork is a faith-inspired animated piece in which the drawing and colouring of the subjects were created in Macromedia Flash 8, focusing on symbolic forms and emotional expression. The animation was refined using online resources for in-between motion, with final frame-by-frame checks and visual polishing completed in Adobe Animate, audio recorded in Audacity, and the final video edited and rendered in Camtasia Studio.

How it fits into contest

This animated film was created as a visual interpretation of Mark 11:23 (KJV), using animation as a medium to express the spiritual truth of faith overcoming overwhelming burdens. The project was produced using Adobe Animate, Macromedia Flash 8 Professional, along with supporting tools such as Audacity for audio editing and Camtasia for video effects and final presentation, among other animation and rendering resources. Through this combination of traditional and digital techniques, the scripture was transformed into a narrative that communicates belief, perseverance, and divine intervention through visual storytelling.Artist Reflection
This scripture inspired me to tell a visual story of faith overcoming weight, where a middle-aged woman carries the heavy bags of health struggles, financial burdens, and life’s pressures until even a mountain of added trials rises before her. When she bows her head in prayer, the light that surrounds her reflects Christ’s promise that belief without doubt has the power to remove what feels immovable. As the burdens vanish and the mountain crumbles, the film becomes my testimony that spoken faith whether through words or art can transform hopelessness into confidence and joy.

Credits

I wish to formally acknowledge and credit my mother, whose constant encouragement through Scripture from the Holy Bible and unwavering reminders of God’s power, which have strengthened me. She continually affirms that no burden no matter how great, frightening, or seemingly immovable, whether spiritual or temporal, The almighty God’ has the Power to remove, crush, and crumble all issues that affects anyone negatively and blesses anyone with his Love.
I also extend sincere credit to my father, who wrote the song featured in the background of this production.
Most importantly I must thank God for the opportunity .

+ Title: The Lord my Rock+
The lord my rock, will never break,
Tho with all my troubles, upon him I lean,
For he bids me come to him,
laying at his feet, all my burdens, all my cares.
Chorus
The lord my rock never breaks, though I lean on him with all my troubles. all my cares , but onto him bids me come, to the rock that never fail

Never has my lord complained, nor my weary soul neglect,
but keeps me daily in his view,
leading on by his grace.
Chorus
The lord my rock never breaks, though I lean on him with all my troubles. all my cares , but onto him bids me come, to the rock that never fail

His words so true, his promises keep,
faithful aways, he strengthens me,
Whispring sweet words of comfort, my waning spirit guides.
Chorus
The lord my rock never breaks, though I lean on him with all my troubles. all my cares , but onto him bids me come, to the rock that never fail
When life's vallies grow deep and dark ,
Oh my savior lead me still,
As his glorious path pilots me.
Chorus
The lord my rock never breaks, though I lean on him with all my troubles. all my cares , but onto him bids me come, to the rock that never fail

Transcript / Lyrics

Narration and reading of the Holy Bible by Rojay Chambers, with rough voice acting recorded using Audacity.

1. (The words in the video) “Form the Holy Bible, Mark 11:23, from the King James. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

2. The concept – I have chosen Mark 11:23 because despite many challenges in life my faith in Jesus Christ, has empowered me to remove impossible barriers and watch my burdens lifted. The End.
