I have a Master’s of Divinity from Regent College and a BA in Community Art and Mission from Wheaton College. I am interested in the ways that art can serve to bring hope and healing to communities by connecting their present realities with the gospel, both in art history and in the art I make. I facilitated a number of art projects in churches, nonprofits, and on campus to bring contemporary challenges in those communities into contact with the gospel. I also created visuals for Bible camp summer programs and illustrated a new Sunday school curriculum for St. John’s Vancouver Anglican Church, and I recently had a piece selected to be published by the Christian Seasons calendar. I lectured at my church on the purposes of art in practicing hope. I want to see art, which is such an identity forming part of our communities and culture, draw us into the reality of the gospel.
