My name is Garrett Degenhardt and I am currently 26 years old. Becoming a born again Christian in the year 2011 at the age of 17, my journey began. I had a new awareness of my creator and fell in love with Jesus and His Goodness. Never previously really being a writer or rapper, Christ brought lyrics to my mind. I started writing Christian hip hop songs under the artist name Getty D and it has been over 8 years of rapping that I've been learning and growing closer to God. Before becoming a born again Christian, I was a filthy wretch lost in my own ways. It feels good to be in a better place submitting this entry right now as I journey closer to Jesus plan for my life.
