Bio

I am a Licensed Counselor and artist based in West Virginia. My undergraduate degree was in Fine Art with a dual major in Painting/Photography. I currently work for a nonprofit helping women and teens identify barriers in their life, which, along with my own experiences inspires my artwork. My art is moving toward focusing on the way that humanity connects with each other as well as the loneliness that can be experienced whether surrounded by others or actually in isolation. Self portraiture in both literal and abstract ways helps me utilise my experience to hopefully connect with others and bridge that gap of loneliness by shared experience.
