Katie Babb

Bio

Katie Babb is passionate about illustrating and highlighting the beauty of Scripture. Through studying the Bible and historical religious art, she has developed a visual language and iconography that communicate overarching narratives and themes found in the Word of God. Her experience as a graphic designer, along with a deep appreciation for historical church architecture, informs the structure and visual organization of her work and helps clearly convey theological ideas. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from the University of Oklahoma. When she is not teaching middle school art at Legacy Christian Academy, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their children, Asher and Gracie.
