Melica W McFarlane is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, choir director, and worship leader who started singing from the age of four years old. Mrs. McFarlane attended the Shiloh Apostolic Church in St. Mary Jamaica where she was the Youth and senior choir director. She wrote her first song at the age of 12 years titled "Down in the Valley". Mrs. Mcfarlane has three children and is married to a recording artist Derrick Mcfarlane
In 2004, she entered a popular music competition in Jamaica called "Rising star". Melica was able to pass the audition however she was eliminated in the first round.
In 2005, she entered another music competition called "Track" where she was accepted at the audition and was placed in fourth place throughout the competition.
In 2008, Melica entered another competition called JCDC(Jamaica Cultural Development Commission) where she was accepted at the audition, however, she was eliminated in the first round. Between 2009 and 2012 Mrs. Mcfalane had completed several collaborations with various artists.
In 2017 she started her musical career where she recorded 3 songs thus far "Take control", " Nuh More" and "Nah go a hell" under the label of Alpha Gospel Recording Production. Mrs. Mcfarlane will continue to pursue her passion and love to minister and win souls for the kingdom of heaven.
