Larry Maynard

Bio

Larry Maynard is a mechanical engineer . He was born and lives in the island of Trinidad .His mother was a descendent of the First People and his father of Barbadian heritage . Larry is a self- taught fine artist and decoupage artist .
He works in acrylic, water colors, pastel, charcoal, pen and ink and pencil. He has a passion for West Indian Heritage and culture, its people and landscapes.
Artists who have influenced Larry include Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Norman Rockwell, Boscoe Holder, Dermot Louison, Jackie Hinkson, and comic book legend Gene (The Dean) Colan
