Mohammad Rakibul Hasan is a Bangladeshi-born documentary photographer, filmmaker, and visual journalist whose work bridges humanitarian storytelling and social justice. With over two decades of experience, he has contributed to global platforms including Thomson Reuters Foundation, Al Jazeera, ZUMA Press, Inter Press Service, Le Monde, and The Daily Star. His practice is shaped by extensive academic training in photography, art history, philosophy, and film from institutions across the USA, UK, Australia, and Asia. Hasan has directed numerous humanitarian documentary films and produced photographic stories across continents, earning major honors including the Lucie Prize, Human Rights Press Awards, and One World Media Awards.
