This is a screen print and watercolor painting on framed canvas. Jesus Christ His mother Mary and a Roman legionary. I drew with graphite pencil the details of chirst the soldier and his mother. I inked over these details then took that ink drawing and converted it into a stencil on a screen. there I pushed ink through that screen to imprint those details. From there I painted all of there background and the men on the crosses.

As this is art depicting calvary, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ The scripture connects to why this event is so important to followers of Christ for so long. It is a brutal scene that represents the Sacrifice of Christ.
