The art work is a combination of two passages in the the scripture.
1. David fighting goliath, and
2. Joshua outside the walls of Jerico.
This was a promise God gave me when I was going through a difficult time which I refer to as my "Jordan's afflictions". My fears were the glamorous today's mordern world, the tall skyscrapers, fancy cars and posh people, which reflect the city of Jericho from the old testament. All what we fear cast the shadow of goliath. Though we live in a different time and age, the battle ground is similar to what Joshua or David faced. The commander of Lord's army that we read in Joshua's story is invisible in David's story. I wanted to portray his presence. God fights our battles and he is right beside us. And all that we have to do is to be the simple David.

No matter how many Goliaths or walls of Jericho we face today, with God by our side we will be victorious like the humble David and Joshua
