With my glitch art, I create art by painting with pixels using digital errors and data disruption. In this image, I took a photo of one of my sword brooches and glitched it into a new piece of digital art. I also wanted to evoke the sort of "edgy" design of one of those mid-2000s Teen Bibles.

Hebrews 4:12:
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

I wanted to reflect on the theme of swords in the Bible, particularly the sword of the spirit as an instrument of discerning the truth.
