This was my first oil painting, and my high school art teacher helped me learn how to use it. It took over a month to complete as I worked on it little by little, and I felt more comfortable with the medium as I progressed. It was a learning process and is a painting I am very proud of.

Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

This connects to my artwork and reflects my passion to live a life dedicated to Christ. Because He died for me and now lives, I can live a life of growth and learning thanks to His mercy.
