As an amateur photographer, I am continually astounded at the beauty of our surroundings. When I head into nature on a photo shoot, I ask God to show me what He would have me see that day. He takes my breath away every single time.

The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:8.
At the break of dawn, a skein of geese broke forth from Yellow Creek Lake as if they'd been called forth to join the glorious scene in the sky just as the sun broke through the clouds. The moody blue coloring of the dawn combined with the morning mist to present a breathtaking backdrop for the geese. The geese formation aligned perfectly with the clouds and hills. The whole scene served as a reminder to take a mind-renewing breath and appreciate how our Father makes himself known through our very surroundings.

All glory goes to God for the soul nourishing surroundings in which we find ourselves.
