The Hebrew word, "Echad" is a word that describes unity and oneness as in, we serve One God--the creator of heaven and of earth. The One who is above all things and in all things and who is sovereign over all things. Regardless of gender or national origin, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) is the God that we serve-we are all of one tree (see Romans 11), whether naturally or grafted in. This is what connects us in unity as both citizens of this Kingdom and heirs of the promise--echad!
“Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, TLV)."
"From the days of John the Immerser until now, the kingdom of heaven is treated with violence, and the violent grasp hold of it (Matthew 11:12, TLV)."
All glory and honor belongs to Yeshua!
