Bio

Artist by hobby. Enjoys experimenting with different media. Currently trying digital artwork. Has exhibited in the past in group shows in Rome, Italy, where she was born and raised, and in Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk), Virginia, USA. In 1995, she obtained a certificate in Figure Drawing from the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Roma (Academy of Fine Arts of Rome). Her art education is a mixture of formal and self-taught lessons.

Born and raised in Rome, Italy. Now living in Virginia, USA. Has a B.A. in Interdivisional Studies/ Psychology, Diploma in Computer Programming, Associates in IT: Internet Specialist, and Certificate in Figure Drawing. Multilingual, Mona Lisa is English native tongue, fluent in Italian and French and speaks Basic Spanish and Tagalog. She has attended international schools run by American Catholic Sisters for both elementary and high school (St. Francis Int’l and Marymount Int’l respectively) both in Rome, Italy.

Her latest job was as a Design Assistant for a import/export textiles company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she assisted in all aspects of design and production of home textiles.

In her spare time, she likes to read about spirituality, write poetry, listen and compose music, and enjoys both the outdoor and city life equally.
