This lighthouse at sunset was created using Prismacolor Premier colored pencil on A4 size cotton blend Pastel Paper.
It was meant as a gift which wasn't the right fit for the recipient. I then used it as a mental health awareness piece on my instagram, however, it also has deeper spiritual meaning.
I link this piece to Psalm 119:105. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Like the lighthouse guides those at sea in a storm, the Bible and our faith guides us through the storms of life.
If you're going through a tough time, look to the light to help guide you through. Everyone encounters rocky times. Everyone has to weather the storm. Those storms help us to become stronger. they may seem overwhelming at the time, but that light will be there to guide you through. It's a beacon of hope to light your way through the dark storms of your life. It's strong. It's sturdy. It's unwavering. It's there to help you in your time of need.
To those who need it, let this lighthouse be your beacon of hope. You can get through this storm. Things will get better. The skies will clear. Those storms, they can create beautiful rainbows.
Each piece is unique and I do not make prints of my work. This piece is available for purchase for $60. It comes unframed and sealed with Krylon UV Archival Spray to prevent fading and wax bloom.
