I am working on a series of oil paintings themed "The Narrow Gate." My previous series of oils was inspired by Psalm 19: "The heavens declare the glory of God." I start a painting by doing several pencil sketches on paper and I transfer the final sketch to canvas where I finish with oil working over with many glazes. My deepest desire is to love my Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind, and to serve and to glorify God with my life and the gifts He has given me.

I love and am comforted that God is with us and always working, not hindered by time or space . . . “My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working.” Jesus, John 5:17
He helps all of us, the meek and the least of these . . . "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Jesus, Matthew 11:28
He gives us a bright and beautiful future . . . “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
