In first Thessalonians verse 18 we are encouraged to comfort one another with these words on the coming and return of the Lord. Therefore my desire through my art work to do just that. I believe that art can reach into hearts with more than just words. The Lord has spoken many times that we are not appointed to His Wrath. The time that we are in presently for those who have eyes to see are waiting and watching with urgency.
Our redemption is certainly drawing near. My prayer is that through my art it will help others to begin to be ready and watch all the more. Maranatha, Lord Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 4: 15-18 v.15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we who are alive and remain until the return of the Lord, will by no means precede those who are asleep.;v .16. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.;
v.17. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall always be with the Lord.;
v.18. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
The hour we are in presently has a mandate to continue to be ready, waiting, and seeking the one whom we will be with forever. The Lord has given these images to me to reinforce His eminent return. Vision for the unseen is the way we are supposed to live in this Earth.
These images tell the story of the absolute truth of our returning Lord and king.So we need to be ready and watching daily for no one knows the day or the hour when Christ will return. I believe these images will help us to be refreshed in the waiting. Maranatha, Lord Jesus.
