This is an abstract piece composed of earthy tones and contrasting crisp whites and neutrals. I use acrylic on canvas and apply paint in a thick manner to build texture and dimension.

This piece is about releasing the power given to us through God’s spirit. Putting on the Armor equips us with the tools we need to be mighty in battle and to withstand the enemy’s attacks. Once we are equipped we are ready for anything and can overcome the world with the strength, power and fortitude of the eagle—a majestic animal that finds its place so frequently in scripture. This piece finds its inspiration in these concepts of Godly living and to me means strength to soar above.
