She is an artist who enjoys painting using acrylics. She has been an artist for a number of years and her work has received several awards. In past years, her works have been on exhibit at The Imperial Centre in Rocky Mount, NC, Greenville Museum of Art, and in the Ayden Historical & Arts Gallery. She has also illustrated several books. At times photographs have taken as a reference for her art, and occasionally she will paint at the site of her subject. Her paintings usually are very detailed. Subjects include seascapes, landscape, abstract, animals, people, religious themes, and occasionally other topics. She likes to paint for enjoyment and relaxation. She uses colors and design to express her interpretation in art. She is influenced and inspired by the beauty she sees in life. Her hope is that when people view her art that they will fell inspired to live life and enjoy the beauty of the world.
