Mary Harris just started to devote time to art in 2019. The favorite types of paintings she does will portray a scriptural story. These personally are a remaindered of where hope comes from and keeps her feet firmly planted.

The "Snake on the Pole" shook me when I sat and pondered it. Complaining brings in more problems, life and death. If I was in the camp with my babies would I be fighting in my own strength or obeying the command, to keep my eyes above.

In painting this I realized even the seemingly most pious were not obeying the command.

There is only one way to Salvation, through Jesus who was lifted up on a pole.
