In completing this spoken word video, I am continuously reminded that we are always in a spiritual war. Even in creating this video satan launched attacks against me mentally, which is where most of the battle comes into play. The bible states for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, power and rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12 ) .We are to respond in faith by speaking the word of God as I demonstrated at the beginning of the video to quench every fiery dart of the wicked(Ephesians 6: 16).
We don't necessarily have to be doing anything wrong for satan to attack us but because we have the Ruach- breath of life in us, we will always be in a battle even if we have repented of our sins and are remorseful which is being Contrite.
So a contrite fight is knowing we have repented and are remoresful but not letting satan condemn us or remind us of our past sin, disappointments or hurts from others but putting on the whole armour of God so that we are able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6: 11) Knowing the truth of God's word and Boldly speaking the word of God by faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked as well as making known the mysteries of the gospel as done with the spoken word, Contrite Fight, as I ought to speak (Ephesians 6:20).

Contrite means to repentant and remorseful of our sins but we are not to let satan condemn us however, that is one of his goals. He wants us to think we can't go on in Christ because of our past hurts, sin or even a current disappointment such as the lost of a loved one.

Satan is an opportunist and does not care if we are living a good life or at our lowest point in life. Either way, we have to always be vigilant of his schemes as the word says in 1 Peter 5:8.
Ephesians 6:10- 20 shows us how to respond to Satan attacks by first Putting on the whole armour of God so that we are able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6: 11) responding in faith with God's word, quenching every fiery dart of the wicked (Ephesians
6:16) praying for ourselves, our family, friends, church members , co workers etc as it says in Ephesians 6: 18 , praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication for all saints.
Making known the mysteries of the gospel (Ephesians 6:19) as I have done with Contrite Fight!
Speaking boldly as I ought to speak ( Ephesians 6: 20)

Let me enlighten you,
Enable the fight in you. So you can stand and not fall.
Writing is how I recite it all and recall it all before a brawl.
When the enemy tries to put his claws in me.
I enable the written word in me.
To resolve it all.
To put the enemy to a nawl.
Wearing my prayer shawl.
Fighting for a just cause, Because Jesus paid it all.
I stand tall.
Having done all to stand. I put my feet to a Holy dance.
Taking my stance . Not giving the enemy a chance.
To remind me of who I use to be OR what I use to do.
Because I'm covered with the Blood of Jesus and He is my Burden
of Proof.
So I take my stand with the Truth.
The Lord is the reason why I put up a fight and continue to do
what's right in His Holy sight.
He is the Giver of Life.
The one who paid my price and the reason why I have sweet
sleep at night.
And He wakes me up the next day ,letting me know He has
paved the way.
For He is --The Way, The Truth and The Life
So I let my light shine- oh so bright.
He is the one who determines what is right.  and that's how I remain
contrite
Because for this Holy war - there -is -a -fight.
For Him I must shed light and remain contrite in the fight,
standing up for what is right!
