Armor of God

Artist Statement

My painting illustrates how people who have been abused can overcome the devil through Christ. He offers us the Armor of God.

How it fits into contest

It depicts an abused child finally becoming strong in the Lord and in His mighty power by putting on the full armor of God, so that they can take their stand against the devil's schemes. Our struggle is not with flesh and blood. The enemy is the pain that abuse has caused.
