Kari Uhlman lives in California. She is a married, retired civil servant. She is a Mending the Soul Support Group Facilitator and serves on the Advisory Committee for Stand Up Placer. She studied General Design. She was first introduced to art as a child, through her neighbor. Her acrylic paintings are cleverly devised to bring joyful art to your doorstep! Her art’s about surviving circumstances that led her to surrendering everything to Jesus. Our moods and relationships with others can be found brushed onto her canvases. She wants to convey courage to deal with feelings we prefer to ignore. She warmly invites you to contemplate her pieces, hoping you will immediately be transported to a sense of calm peacefulness.
