Artist bio

Biography: Hi, I am a spiritual painter from Colorado. I like to paint faith-based artwork, as well as nature, wildlife, ocean art, and cubist works. My artistic style would be a mix of several styles, abstract expressionism, cubism, modern, and figurative. Many of my faith-based paintings have an allegory message of faith, death, overcoming evil or environmental. I also incorporate things from nature into several of my works, stone, shells, and plants. I do believe we should all be stewards of our forests and oceans. I get my inspiration from nature as a park patrol ranger, I spend many hours a week in the mountains of Colorado protecting our natural resources. I am an avid scuba diver, and like to paint ocean scenes. My faith-based paintings come from my relationship with god, and dreams, which are spiritual in nature. My hope is that people get inspiration, enjoyment, and pleasure from viewing my paintings. Artist Statement: Those who speak in spiritual terms routinely refer to God as creator but seldom see ‘creator’ as the literal term for ‘artist’. I am suggesting you take the term ‘creator’ quite literally. You are seeking to forge a creative alliance, artist-to-artist, with the Great Creator God. Personal Statement: I believe we are all stewards of our planet; each individual should do whatever they can to preserve our wildlife, ocean, forests and air. Stand up for your beliefs, and focus on the positive things in life. Life is short, use your time wisely. Love, Laugh, make new friends, and enjoy Art! Greatest man in history, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today🙏🏻. His name is Jesus.❤ You can find some of my paintings on display at the Brighton, Co. How it fits into contest

The Book of Revelation describes a war in heaven between angels led by the Archangel Michael against those led by "the dragon", identified as the devil or Satan, who will be defeated and thrown down to the earth. Revelation's war in heaven is related to the idea of fallen angels, and possible parallels have been proposed in the Hebrew Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
