I am a mixed media, multi-disciplinary artist that uses various mediums such as photography, printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture to express my Christian worldview. I have been exploring the tradigital approach for more than 20 years blending the traditional hand marking processes with digital technology and have participated in over 100 exhibitions, internationally, nationally and regionally in solo, juried and invited exhibitions. I have been a practicing artist for more than 40 years. I recently was assigned a part-time position teaching basic photography at Redeemer University in Ancaster, Ontario. I graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design (Toronto, Ontario) and the University of Guelph (Guelph, Ontario).

Artist Statement

I am a mixed media, multi-disciplinary artist that uses various mediums such as photography, printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture to express my Christian worldview. I have been exploring the tradigital approach for more than 25 years blending the traditional hand marking processes with digital technology and have participated in over 100 exhibitions, internationally, nationally and regionally in solo, juried and invited exhibitions. I have been a practicing artist for more than 50 years. I have offered various workshops and drawing classes and was assigned a part-time position teaching basic photography for two semesters at Redeemer University in Ancaster, Ontario. I was privileged to be accepted in a juried photo exhibition several years ago where photographers from around the world exhibited at the prestigious Louvre in Paris France. I graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design (Toronto, Ontario) and the University of Guelph (Guelph, Ontario).

How it fits into contest

The Passion story of Christ depicts the suffering journey of Christ through the streets of Jerusalem towards the cross. The 15 stations of Christ includes the resurrection which is His final victory over sin and death.

These prints on archival cold press paper measure 17” x 22” and can be purchased individually for $125 or as a set for $1500.
