This painting was created with sumi ink, & pastel on paper. This work was inspired by the account of the shepherds in Luke 2 of the Holy Bible King James Version. The sheep representing us God's people, hearing Him call us to himself. Awakening us to His glory. Showing Himself to us. God the man and God the infinite.
How it fits into contest
This artwork represents an important fact about being alert. Ready to stand, hearing and knowing God's voice. As well as being aware of His calling for you. The shepherd shown here is a picture of our King, speaking, guiding, protecting us His sheep.
