This is an ink piece on cold press, depicting three friends after an argument and the fourth friend being the viewer. I am trying to convey the hardships we all face and deal with from day to day and see that God gives us all battles and challenges that we must overcome.

My piece is based on Ephesians 6:10-20 but in a more present way. I wanted to tackle the verses in a unique way by putting them in a newer setting that almost everyone can relate to. My piece depicts three friends after an argument, all of them having different expressions that show how they were impacted. I related this to Ephesians 6:10-20 by showing the armor that God holds within us, though there are times that feel desolate or dim, especially after an argument with people you hold dear. Remembering God's light and strength is important in these trying times. The title is called Four Friends because the last friend is the viewer, allowing the viewer to put their own interpretation and understanding of the situation from their view. This allows the viewer to have a close connection with the situation and shows that we all need prayer, it is not just for the three people but for us all.
