I was wandering through a working class market in Beitou District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was raining and cold, but people were struggling hard to serve the customers and keep the market running. I was amazed at their spirits and perseverance. The people working in these markets face extraordinary challenges on a day-to-day basis, so to see them pushing through in such dramatic fashion.

On this cold rainy day reminded me of Ephesians 6:10-20. With faith and the idea that the good draws to it the good, the human spirit can not only conquer evil, but experience love and bliss while doing so.
