“Be Strong in the Lord”

In this Acrylic and Marker Art I have illuminated the words found in Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” The canvas emphasizes that strength, through my conception of a powerful hand thrusting a cross forward. The scene was painted rapidly and forcibly to further intensify the feeling of the great power and action found in the cross. This art is as far from being static, as is the Word of God and the message of the cross.
