I have always been fascinated by athletic competitions and I sought out a triathlon transition area for this piece. I wanted to capture the athletes and their beautiful movements of grace amongst and in the greater cosmos of God's creation. I incorporated the Milky way galaxy and wanted to convey that our movements down here echo movements up in the heavens. The heavens also emit mystical music.

The triathletes wear all kinds of gear and I chose an athlete wearing the spiritual armor and also the battle is being fought in the heavens too.
