Am an experimental artist and i draw my inspiration from our daily living. I explore different Medium like oil colour, acrylic, materials such as sand, charcoal, fabrics, sawdust In a manner and approach that it should be found educating and informative enough so as to create both physical and spiritual awareness (aesthetics) thereby mirroring lives and create individual self translation or interpretation all towards how humanity.Art is life; it is an avenue for those who has been endowed with the creative storytelling talent using their art to engage, and as tool of social commentary. Utilizing or harnessing the inherent excellence of Art and narrating gifts of being an artist to upgrade the environment and encounters and use art as an instrument to elevate and connect with the soul and heart, thereby assisting with opening the center of our singular human potentials. How it fits into contest

Ephesians 6 verse 12-13 says For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powersof this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (NIV)
In the book of luke chapter 11 verse 1 to 4 ; says 11. One day Jesus was "praying" in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:
“‘Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.3 Give us each day our daily bread.4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.And lead us not into temptation; ordinarily one would say Jesus does not need to pray because he is the son of God and not a mere mortal So why should he pray but for the fact the Jesus was flesh and blood and born into the world where the ruler is the devil ;Job 9 verse 24 says The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; he covers the faces of its judges— if it is not he, who then is it?(English Standard Version). If Jesus himself knew the importance of prayer then as christians that's all we need to fight all warfares. In Paul's letter to the Ephesians he laid Emphasis and used the physical weapons as reference so as to encourage the christians know the different place prayer serves as a weapon to defend against the devil.
But Winning or losing against oneself comes first; This battle is the most constantly fought and rarely known! This is also the most crucial of all. Being prayerful, abstaining from sin and living a Godly and intentional life is a unique means to finding ones place in the heart of God but what we need most to harness this from God is by constant supplication and communication (prayer) I see no other options here just prayer it is the key to the father and a weapon against the wicked one. I have been in different contest and for the first time in years I see a more purposeful means to reach out the world and I must say this has touched me. Winning any price or not, being here alone means winning for me. Am happy to part of this family.

WHEN YOU STOP PRAYING..
*When you stop praying,* you start misbehaving.
*When you stop praying,* you start making poor choices in important matters of life.
*When you stop praying,* you become unserious with everything.
*When you stop praying,* you start losing your value.
*When you stop praying,* you start losing opportunities.
*When you stop praying,* you lose spiritual receptors and become carnal.
*When you stop praying,* you lose inspiration and excellence and start making errors.
*When you stop praying,* you lose freshness and start decaying.
*When you stop praying,* you start losing ground.
*When you stop praying,* you start losing things.
*When you stop praying,* you start seeing everyone as an enemy and fake including your destiny helpers.
*When you stop praying,* you start hiding.
*When you stop praying,* you stop seeing the value and beauty of life and start contemplating suicide.
*When you stop praying,* you start unnecessary competition and strife.
*When you stop praying,* you become more susceptible to witchcraft.
*When you stop praying,* you start reading the bible posts and listen to messages by men of God with a contemptuous attitude.
*When you stop praying,* your light become darkness.
*When you stop praying,* you start comforting yourself that your Social Media experiences are enough and fellowship is not important .
*When you stop praying,* everything including nature starts fighting you.
*Anytime prayer stops,* it is quickly replaced and overtaken by a wrong habit and spirit, because nature abhors vacuum. *Watch it!*
Pray even if you don't feel like Praying is not a feeling, it's a commitment. Prayer is the key to breakthrough.
I discovered most great men of God are men of prayer and they're those whose faith has been tested. People like Abraham, Peter, John the Baptist, Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, and Paul to mention just a few walked right in the sight of God and we're all blessed. Right from the time the devil rebeled against God an was sent to earth, the earth has been doomed but God gave us his only son ( John 3:16) to die for the redemption of our souls. That sacrifice carried a lot of grace with it and those who believe in him (Jesus) would not perish but have eternal life. John 16 :33 says I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” this is a divine promise and it is made manifest in those constantly remind (prayer) the father (God) of these promises. But it was made clear that there will be "trouble" Infact God has given us everything we need to posses peace even when the first man Adam fell from grace, Mercy still spoke for him because God is love and love does not destroy or kill all.
In conclusion, I grew up in the western part of Nigeria where our ancestors practiced traditional religion which inlvolves a lot of sacrifices, bloodshed and rituals which has passed down generational curses to the later generations. But thanks to the power of prayer a lot of us are able to break free and here I am today, a living testimony. Thank you Jesus your grace has found me just as I am, and here I am to say thank you.
Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport through deliberate communication. In the narrow sense, the term refers to an act of supplication or intercession directed towards God. More generally, prayer can also have the purpose of thanksgiving or praise, and in comparative. God knew all even before it even started and he has given us the greatest weapon which is prayer. All we need do is say it to the Father. So let's pray it beyond all odds.
Figurative representation
The colours at the background of the painting represent different people with different destinies facing one challenges or the other.
The hand is a symbol of hope and it represents the true weapons of a true christian. The hand is a singular concept used to potray prayer and a path to true freedom ( spiritual and physical).
Thank you and God bless
John.
