Artist bio

I am from Guatemala, I am 27 years old and I am passionate about music and different types of art. Currently in my free time I dedicate myself to music composition and photography; I can play guitar, bass, piano, drums and I also sing. I got all the knowledge about music and photography by reading books and on the internet. I am a person who believes and trusts fully in God and one of my dreams is to be able to do a recording studio and to be able to study photography in a professional way.

Fight to the finish

Artist Statement

I have always liked creating new things and gaining new knowledge so I took various tools to create the shield and sword, both are made of wood, the wood I used was left over from other carpentry work; I made the crown with cardboard and then painted it with color gold.

My sister had this saved red dress that we really liked, and then the white blouse that matches very well, we bought the shoes especially for this photograph.

I edited the photographs on my cell phone, the place to take the photographs was a nearby place since we cannot go far from home due to local restrictions the Covid19

How it fits into contest

The biggest fights happen in our mind; day by day when we wake up in the morning, when we go to work, at bedtime we have a constant struggle every day of our live. Ephesians 6: 12 declares "Because we are not fighting against human powers, but against evil spiritual forces from heaven, which have command, authority and dominion over the world of darkness that surrounds us."

This work reflects that the closer you get to God, the more you know about him, while you put all your trust in him and believe in him; spiritual weapons materialize in our mind and we can have victory every day.

You can smile but you can also have the courage and bravery to fight the battle.
