Artist Statement

I consider myself an artist whose historic moment as a world citizen in a competitive environment takes his life project and creative ability into account as a great influence and inspiration to choose topics and styles. The aim is to provoke in man and in society aesthetic emotions, feelings of admiration and collective sublimations.
As an artist, I get inspired by the social environment, the nature, the human being and his behavior, Neuroscience, culture, and people’s traditions to create something new and different, even with a subtle hue of something already known that can be found in any of them.
Furthermore, I find it very important to get art and artists back to their real place in our lives as well as to arouse the viewer’s interest, participation, critical and creative estimation looking and understanding the real “artistic truth” featuring scenes of social, political, evolution to get a better life among all of us, control on our emotions and feelings, working in harmony, cooperation and unity to avoid hunger, poverty, and utopic traditions. Tragic exhibition of the miseries of the people, their pain, oppression, impunity, and injustices that plague them.

“Being able to create and enjoy art is equivalent to an integration of society in consciousness”.

How it fits into contest

God gave us the capacity to think, to believe, to understand, to create and develop a world according with his holy word but, when we take the decisions following our emotions and feelings, we make many mistakes.
The Lord help us (Ephesians 6:10-12)

When I am creating my art work (on this particular subject).
The main model represents the whole armor of God, his divine protection.
and all of us may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (13-17) Transformation is the key in our brain to control our emotions through praying (1st. Thessalonians 5:17)

I transform all my impressions (imaginative or real through my creative intuition where such intuition is as valid as the reason) in expressions (concrete - sensitive image or images); producing a force and a virtue in the spectator that emanates from each artistic piece, that means, visual communication
“The awakening of a new, individual and collective consciousness” is not only about ‘aesthetic emotions’ (without understood emotion, there is nothing in life), but also about transforming your “attitude towards life”, renewing the universal values portraying them in artwork through painting in order to give a globalized social dimension.
Thus, my artistic approach and fundamental objective in painting as a branch of art is to act, as a powerful factor of social unification, in order to inspire and achieve a superior life of equal rights, respect and universal peace through God's word (Ephesians 18:20)

“Half-truths and easy optimism give place to cynicism and apathy. At the last extreme, only the truth (God's word) can serve the people through art”.
