Exploration, imagination and creation. My work encompasses these ideas as I strive to find myself through my artistic practice and the love of God. I plan to continue this process of learning and exploration as I work towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Calgary. I want to discover as much knowledge as I can while I have the opportunity to immerse myself in my own creative process, wherever that takes me.

Artist Statement

This is a digital kaleidoscope I created in photoshop from a photo of a previous artwork. I recently began exploring the artistic realm of digital art and I am really excited to see where this will take me in my artistic practice.

How it fits into contest

This image exemplifies how I imagine the shield of faith described in Ephesians 6:10-20, as extinguishing the flaming arrows thrown at it. This shows the beauty and complexity of the armour of God that I will stand firm in.
