My artwork is a literal translation of the spiritual battle that is waged in our daily lives. The mere fact of believing that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ is a spiritual battle. If truth be told, in many circles Jesus Christ's divinity is challenged and/or denied; He is not recognized as being the one true Son of God and Savior of the world. Others believe that it is through works that one might receive eternal life. However, we know that it is by grace we have been saved, through faith in Jesus Christ—and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, to those who believe in his name, he has given the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, but born of God (John 1:12-13).
Consequently, my videography is an expression of the great love that our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ passionately demonstrated at the Cross. It is an admonition to us all. No matter our circumstances, situations, and/or issues, we can approach His throne continually to receive the grace(s) that we need. It is a reminder that “if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:1-2).
My artwork is connected to Ephesians 6:10-20 in several ways. First of all, the song to this music video was birthed in the heat of battle. It was during this time of intense spiritual warfare that I needed to “be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10). As I penned this song and sang it over and over, it reminded me of God’s truth. It reminded me that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
Therefore, as my artwork progressed, each written word of Truth, every musical note, and every video image was also affirmed in my heart and mind. It’s as if I was putting on the full armor of God to stand against the devil’s schemes. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:11-12). This is true for every individual and it is the message that I wish to convey through my artwork. As we accept God's word as being true and choose to act on each truth, we are putting on the armor of God, one piece at a time. As we choose to believe and boldly stand and confess every scriptural promise, we use His word as a double-edged sword to obtain victory.
When the day of evil came in my life, I chose to put on the full armor of God and I was able to stand my ground. And after I had done everything to stand, I kept standing; the end result of my personal struggle was victory through Jesus Christ.
This artwork is not only connected to the spiritual battle of Ephesians 6:10-20, but it is also an admonition to us all. No matter our circumstances, situations, and/or issues, we can pray in the Spirit on all occasions. We can pray with all kinds of prayers and requests as we approach His throne continually to receive the grace(s) that we need. With this in mind, let us be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. As a personal request, pray also for me, that whenever I speak and/or sing, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador. Please pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should (Ephesians 6:18-20).

(Oración dirigida a Diós)
(Prayer directed towards God)
Lord I want to thank you for your forgiveness.
I know I haven't been perfect in my walk with You,
that I haven't been as obedient as I should,
and that there are areas in my life that need to be refined.
Nevertheless, if I'm still standing it's because of your great love for me.
Verily, of your fullness we all have received grace upon grace.
1) The grace of God is a river of love.
The grace of God is a river of love.
2) The grace of God is a river of love.
The grace of God is a river of love.
3) And when you find yourself in trials
And you can no longer carry that pain.
Just give Him whatever you're carrying
and trust in Him.
