In life we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of darkness. This painting represents how we as humans are to fully trust God in the middle of a spiritual war. Arrows of fire and spirits armed with weapons maybe surrounding us but we should not be phased by these attacks of the enemy. We are to adorn ourselves with the full Armor of God take our position remaining calm while praying and reading God's word. We need to fully trust Him to fight our battles. The cross is always behind us as a sign of protection as we fully know who is the author and finisher of our faith.
