Artist Statement

The photograph is of a group of children participating in acoustic worship. This was taken in a village of the Amazon river in Brazil during a mission trip.

How it fits into contest

Worship songs are created from the Word of God and singing along is almost like putting on the full armor of God. When we come together as one and worship, we are actively reiterating to our mind the Truth and therefore fighting against the unseen battles happening around us.
