The painting has two meanings
While reading this the image appeared to me as a vision between two realms, Ephesians 6:12- "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"
The physical and spiritual realms show a segregation against ourselves, the poor the rich the "blacks", "whites", people of authority and the rulers of the world; crime, corruption, injustice and laws that are dictatorial against low class citizens. Spiritual, chemical warfare and artificially produced man-made viruses.
The painting depicts battles seen and unseen in the physical and spiritual realm.
The physical realm depicts good vs evil/corruption vs non-corruption, judges, politicians, lawyers, service men, civilians against each other. High class citizens that the law don't seem to apply to, both sides are similar in appearance because our hearts, morals and values speak for us. The flag bearer holds a threading dinged flag which represents the fall and destruction of a nation.
The physical realm cannot see the spiritual realm that's why there's a patch of blue sky which represents the contrast of our plain to theirs.
The sky is depicting the chaos within the both realms. The color red represents the pandemonium happening here on earth. (Australian and Amazon fires, plagues, famine and wars) The explosion of the lightning strike on the top right side of the sky represents the mighty intervention of God within the disorder.
°Process while painting "crimson skies"°
Officially started in October 2019 always knew what I wanted to create but had a hard time depicting it properly. During the time of starting to the deadline date there have been a bunch of unforeseen circumstances with the world and myself physically and mentally which prevented me from painting continuously but I had the engaged app which motivated me and kept me inspired through it all so I was able to eventually reach somewhere with the painting.
"Crimson skies" is a small piece of my soul and how I think about the world, to this day most of my paintings and ideas are spiritually based and connected to nature history and ancient geometry which is the base of all things (atoms)
Ephesians 6:12- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
As humans we are like pawns in the middle of a spiritual battle, the influences of both good and evil are real. The struggle is not amoungst ourselves but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, these are the spiritual forces that influences a vast majority of people in and out of authority and the physical rulers of our earth to have greed and malice to maintain their lifestyle and hidden agendas.
I believe that with everything going on in the world it's important for us to hold our faith and don't be despondent
The war of the spirits are happening daily, it's important for us to choose who we are and who we would like to be. It is hard sometimes but we do not have to fight our battles alone.
That's when we put on the armour of God, we stand firm and soild as a rock against our temptations and those who trespass against us, while holding on to the fruits of our spirit. Which goes hand in hand with the armour of God ; peace, faithfulness, righteousness, love, self control.
We pray and give it all to our creator
A quote from the movie "war room" Hold your peace and I will fight for you
Exodus 14:14the lord will fight for you; you need only be still
No one else was involved in the painting but family and friends motivated me continuously when life got hard
