I am a digital collage artist. This design was created by merging and blending multiple images of the cosmos. The woman depicted is a close friend of mine who has been a pivotal spiritual influence in my life.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

This image depicts the inner spiritual battle within the unseen world. The cosmic hand wrapped around her throat is a symbolic representation of evil attempting to influence her righteousness, truth, and faith- silencing her voice. However, the wings on her back and halo of light around her head are metaphorical for the armor of god- lifting her up and providing light in the presence of darkness.
