Armored Up is how I strive to approach each day. This piece shows an "everyday Joe" headed out to work. He's prepared with the proper clothing, shoes, lunch for physical nourishment, and his Bible for spiritual nourishment. This is how you would see me if we met on the street.

The reflection in the mirror is a glimpse of what the supernatural, spiritual world encounters when a believer in Christ prepares himself with God's armor. A warrior for Christ, ready to stand firm and face the battle.

Armored Up depicts both the flesh and blood realm and the supernatural realm. It shows we must be prepared daily, just as we prepare for work, with the armor of God to battle the unseen forces around us.
